I started on with HY as an Energy Exchanger, allowing me to continue my love of practicing and learning about yoga, and being a part of a community that fit me. As I continued to grow, I followed this up by taking the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at HY, and was really transformed into the yoga instructor I am today.
My classes are fun, full of energy, and geared towards being inspiring and uplifting. I welcome everybody to my classes, allowing you to be where you need to be at that time. My goal is to create a safe, encouraging space, in which we are all equal, on our own journey.
I invite you to join me for a hot and sweaty `rockin` Shake Your Asana class on Tues nights at 7:45-8:45pm. We will move and flow to awesome music (your own impromptu dance moves are totally welcome). *This class may result in moving stuck energy, and feeling euphoric after.
I also teach Power Flow on Sat 11am-12:15pm. In this non-heated class you will use your own strength and energy to create some heat and move towards your intention with breath. This class is also available to anyone who wishes to come and join the power. You will leave most-likely feeling stronger, more amazing, and all around awesome!
Another one of my offerings at Halifax Yoga is my work as a Thai Massage Practitioner. This traditional practice is like having yoga done for you! It is amazingly therapeutic and relaxing, allowing your body to be moved through its full range of motion in a non-invasive, gentle manner, leaving you in a state of bliss. Anyone and everyone is welcome to sign up for a private 30, 45, or 60min session. You won`t regret it! Ask about my upcoming Thai Yoga Workshop on July 18, Thurs evening, 6-7:30pm.
