I was born and raised in Halifax, and after living, working and raising my own family in Ontario for the last 21 years, I am thrilled to be finally back home in NS.
I discovered my love for teaching group fitness over 30 years ago at the YMCA. I added Pilates 20 years ago and completed my 200 hour YTT in Anusara yoga a decade ago.
Yoga has really changed my life.
Both mentally, emotionally, physically and definitely spiritually. I can’t imagine life without my yoga practice. It fills me up and I am a better human because of it.
I have been involved in health and wellness for many years, as an RMT, ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist, Canfitpro Personal Training Specialist and most recently, an advanced Usui Reiki Practitioner.
I truly love to integrate all I have learned into my signature Body Balance classes. This class blends yoga, Pilates (both Mat and vertical) with therapeutic and functional exercises. My aim is to improve posture, mobility, body awareness, and core strength.
Above all, I try to bring fun, joy and the love of all things movement to my participants.
I am so excited to be a part of this amazing Halifax Yoga community!
