Laura’s passion for yoga began in March 2009 when she took her first Intro to Yoga class at Halifax Yoga. After many years of battling health issues and also feeling like she was missing something in her life, Laura was drawn to the balance and centering that yoga provided to her. Her health improved drastically and she formed a deeper connection with herself and a real sense of belonging.
Laura said yes to more that yoga had to offer as she took the next step in the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Sherry Zak and Coeli Marsh and to this day continues to fall deeper in love with Yoga.
Laura couldn`t get enough of the yoga community and so her continuous love for making a difference, holding space and yoga were finally combined when she took a huge leap, left her corporate job and continued her journey as she took on the role of Studio Manager at Halifax Yoga. She has since then also completed Level 1 with Baron Baptiste, IGOLU training with Suzanne Conrad and completed various Subject Yoga Training Certificates!

|Favorite yoga pose and why?||Tree pose (Vrksasana), there is nothing better than standing still after a wave of vinyasa’s and feel your body ground down.|
