Janine was introduced to yoga at a young age by her mother, who taught herself yoga out of a book. She remembers doing “Lions Breath” and laughing so hard until her belly hurt. It wasn’t until many moons later after years of dance training, her love for movement brought her back to yoga. In 2017 she discovered hot power flow and realized the benefits yoga has for reducing stress and anxiety. After having a regular practice, she felt a shift in her own life and immediately wanted to share with others. She completed her 200HR Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) and 80HR Mentorship Program at Halifax Yoga in 2020. She assisted as a mentor on the 2020/2021 YTT Program.
