Angela Day

I was introduced to yoga in 1997. I was curious and signed up for a series at my local community center.  I liked it alright, but it wasn’t until 2007, when I came back to my mat, that I fell in love with it.  I’m an active person and was frustrated with the aches and pains I was experiencing from my fitness routine.  I remembered how great my body felt when I was practicing yoga, so looked into yoga studios in my area…..Love at second sight, I guess.

I practice yoga because I love it! It challenges me both mentally and physically, makes me laugh and cry, calms and energizes me. Now a day’s, we easily get caught up in our busy lives and rarely take the time to ask, “How am I doing?” I love that yoga allows me this. It helps to keep me grounded and happy to know that whatever shows up is okay.

In 2010, with great support and encouragement, I decided to dig a little deeper and started my YTT with Therapeutic Approach Yoga Studio- What a gift!!

My approach…

I believe that each person’s experience with yoga is different.  I am not there to teach, but to guide. To share and offer my practice in a safe and encouraging atmosphere.

Words to live by/ Favorite quote

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be?” ~ Marianne Williamsom
