Andrea Gracia has been practicing Yoga for a little over 8 years. Yoga and her found each-other when she was living in México, her home land. Throughout the years she has witnessed how yoga has transformed the way she appreciates her body and her life; when life seems to have turned dark or too complicated, her practice is the only thing that remains constant.
After years of learning from amazing teachers in México and in her current home here in Canada, she decided to make one of her biggest dreams come true: Travel to India and Study Yoga in its birth place .
Andrea was trained in Ashtanga and traditional Hatha Yoga both in theory and practice by her Teacher Yogiji Yogendra Mishra, in the banks of the beautiful Himalayas in Rishikesh. This immersive training and staying with a family of Yogis in the north of India gave her a different perspective of this ancient practice.
She has her 200hr YTT certification from India, 200hr YTT Certificate from TAYS, and a Mentorship program from Aumbience Yoga.
Her experience in India, what she has learned from her teachers in México/Canada and her personal practice throughout these years is something she wishes to share with more people.
