All classes are drop in classes unless pre registration is specified.
All RealRyder Indoor Cycling classes require pre-registration.

Baptiste Inspired Hot

HY’s Hot Power Baptiste Inspired classes are based on the Baptiste Sequence. They are build strength, flexibility, concentration and torch calories! You can always expect a great cardiovascular and strength building workout combined with breath work (pranayama). Baptiste Style Power Yoga is usually taught in a heated room to help cleanse the body and warm the muscles. This style of Yoga is inspired by Baron Baptiste and has a strong emphasis on cultivating authentic personal power! All Levels.

MarDocs Yoga

An 10 week series for Resident Physicians ~ All Levels non-heated Vinyasa Flow.

 

Aroma Flow

Uplevel your practice and your life by adding the medicinal benefits and sensory awareness of therapeutic grade essential oils to your yoga practice. Weave the science of aromatherapy into a dynamic vinyasa class based on Ayurvedic principles. In this all-levels class, we can address the subtle/pranic body and invoke heightened states of consciousness by working directly with plant based medicine. You will leave this class feeling completely rejuvenated, clear and calm. Non-heated.

Aroma Restorative

Restorative Yoga class is a quieting, supportive and deeply nourishing practice. Enjoy this class with Therapeutic grade essential oils which promote an overall calming effect on the nervous system and sets a deeply relaxing tone for the class that comforts your mind and body down to the cellular level.

 

Hot Power

HY’s Hot Power classes build strength, flexibility, concentration and torch calories! You can always expect a great cardiovascular and strength building workout combined with breath work (pranayama). It is taught in a heated room to help cleanse the body and warm the muscles. This is a playful style of Yoga!All Levels.

Flow

HY’s Flow class will strengthen, stretch and relax your entire body. It’s a fantastic class for those new to Yoga or those looking for a slower paced class. The term “vinyasa” is a Sanskrit word used to define the sequence in the sun salutation series of… chaturanga, up dog, down dog, all linked to breath.

Soulful Flow

A non-heated gentle class that focuses on mindfulness and enhancing awareness.
Appropriate for all levels, this class offers you movement, restoration, and connection!

Yin:Yang Beats

Yin & Yang Yoga is a powerful practice which targets the deep connective tissues of the body (tendons, ligaments and fascia). There is a flow portion and a stretch portion. Each posture is held for longer periods of time allowing a slow and safe opening of the tissues, leaving the yogi with an overall feeling of spaciousness and peace. It is the perfect antidote to stress and a great counter balance to more active styles of Yoga. Although Yin Yoga is a more passive practice it can be quite challenging due to the length of time postures are held. Open to all levels. Upbeat Music!

 Recharge and Restore

This class provides the perfect balance of movement and rest – with some All Levels yoga followed by restorative yoga! Recharge your system with active practice and deeply Restore with restful poses to unwind and integrate. All Levels!

Rock Steady (Heated)

HY’s Rock Steady is a fun and groovy Hot Flow class to uplifting music! Utilize core-generated alignment to find a whole new world of muscles, actions, energy. Discover how to use your deep core muscles to make quick gains in true power, making all your poses more possible as you keep your body healthy for years of yoga to come. All Levels.

Intro to Yoga

HY’s 6 week program is designed exclusively for new students and students starting back to yoga after an extended period. You will learn the fundamentals of yoga postures and breathing techniques. Gain insight into the principles of yoga philosophy and cultivate inner body awareness to guide your practice. Mom & Baby

Mom and Baby
HY’s 8 week Mom & Baby Yoga Program is an opportunity to take care of your mind, body and baby post pregnancy. This all levels program is designed to strengthen your core, improve your posture and relax using inspirational yoga postures, breath techniques and meditation. Meet other new moms and create community. Open to mommies 4 weeks post pregnancy and babies 1 month-pre-crawling (or not crawling too far or too fast!) Pre-registration is required. Yin & Hot Yin Yoga

Although Yin Yoga is a more passive practice it can be quite challenging due to the length of time postures are held. This Yin Yoga class is open to all levels.

Yin/Yang & Hot Yin/Yang

HY’s Yin:Yang is the perfect balance of strength and flexibility to cultivate a sense of energy and peace. The class begins with a Yang practice (a Vinyasa Flow) to energize and strengthen the body and finishes with a slow and deep practice (Yin postures) to open the body and still the mind. All levels welcome.

Restorative Yoga

HY’s Restorative Yoga class is a quieting, supportive and deeply nourishing practice. Restorative poses are done by lying passively over props for a prolonged period, to achieve a deep level of relaxation. The slower pace and deep breathing triggers the parasympathetic nervous system which helps to mitigate the effects of the regular fight-or-flight stress response that can be damaging to your physiology and well-being. The overall calming effect on the nervous system sets a deeply relaxing tone for the class that comforts your mind and body down to the cellular level.

Restorative yoga could just as easily be called “mindful yoga” due to the expanded awareness of self and body that comes through the practice. This is life changing; the more we practice conscious relaxation, the easier it becomes to stay grounded and calm, even in life’s most challenging circumstances.

Through the techniques of a Restorative Yoga practice, you awaken grace, poise, flexibility, balance, strength, and present moment awareness. No prior yoga experience necessary.

Yoga to the People – Karma Yoga

HY’s Karma class is an all levels Vinyasa Flow class. This donation based class supports local charities and a different charity is chosen each month. Selfless service in ACTION! $10.00 suggested donation. All Levels.

Prenatal Yoga

HY’s 8 week Prenatal Yoga Program provides a safe and supportive environment to prepare for birth and motherhood. Prenatal yoga class postures are modified to accommodate the changing needs of the expectant mother. Contact HY at 406.9642 to save your spot.
